Judging will be based on:
Think outside the box. Show us how you develop an idea and solve problems. Use old things in new ways. Identify new relationships and demonstrate how they fit together to create a solution.
Give us something we’ve never seen before. Tackle something no-one’s even thought of yet. Show us a trail-blazing design, the first of its kind.
How expensive would your design be to produce, transport and install? How readily available are the materials? Does it serve a purpose or solve a challenge?
Your entry should include:
-a 3D design using computer aided design software in the fields of Digitalisation, Sustainable Energy, Intelligent Infrastructure and/or the Future of Manufacturing;
-have a maximum printed output size of 300mm x 250mm x 150mm;
-have a maximum file size of 20MB;
-be in STL file format; and
-be printed as a one colour design only.
The competition opens on 15 October, 2014 and closes at 5pm (AEDT) on 14 November, 2014.
